Banquet!

So yesterday I went to my banquet for orchestra...

And yes I know I haven't updated in a while, and a lot of things have happened since I last wrote but that'll be in a later post!!

About the banquet:

After school, I still didn't have shoes to go with my dress so my mother and I had to go and get shoes...it was very frustrating because none of the shoes were..well..good. They either were too toe-pinching, or the heel was too tall, or whatever. I finally found some silver ones but by then it was already 5:45 and my banquet was starting at 6:30. It took me 15 minutes to get home so really I only had 20 minutes to get ready -.-

LOL I don't know why I'm like talking so weird or whatever blah

I brushed my teeth then shaved, then I went to go do my makeup and hair, and got dressed and then my friend was at my house by 6:25, but as I was going out the door, I remembered that I had forgotten to do my toes -.- and they were disgusting, ok, but I just grabbed a random nail polish and went out the door. Of course, the nail polish I had grabbed was a light pink, and the fading polish on my toes was like a hot pink. YAY.

Anyways.

So we got there, signed in and everything...it was in this room at a hotel and everything was very fancy and nice:D The salad and the dessert was already set on the round tables and you could choose where to sit but some of our friends had already arrived so we sat with them.

We ate our salads (nothing special) then the main course arrived!!

Of course I was super smart so I forgot to take any pictures of the food.

The main course was this chicken breast thingie on mashed potatoes and some sort of sauce was dripped all over it? Everything was good except the sauce. It tasted like mayonnaise and ranch XP

The desert was freaking amazing. yum. Chocolate cake!:D

The best part was the slide show. It was compromised of pictures from our best orchestra events this year and there was this one picture of my friend and I on our spring trip and I was asleep on her shoulder but luckily my hair was fanned out to cover my face. It was really cool, seeing all the past events that we had done.

Then..I'm not sure if this was before or after our awards, but we had seniors who would be leaving once the school year was out, and they had a special slideshow just for them too.

Then we had student awards...and then orchestra awards...

And then dancing.

So that was pretty much it...I have to go and do my powerpoint now, so I'll update in a later post!

So today I went to school.

And thats about it.

Okay so I really have nothing to talk about...except that there is something wrong with my jawbone.
I can't seem to open my mouth unless I try very hard and then a joint pops in my mouth. Its very painful ok.
I think part of it has to do with my braces because there are these really harsh edges and

okay why am I talking about my braces

Anyways.

I must do my homework now.

OHMYGOSH

So I checked my WG grade and it went down by a point so it turns out both my averages from my recent quizzes were 40 and 48....

It's because I totally forgot to take one from both units and received a 0!!-.-

I really hope my mom doesn't check my grades soon.

Oh well, our project grade will go in soon and hopefully my grade will go up then.

I'm trying to memorize all these different states and rivers and stuff in Africa (ok maybe I'm not) and its so difficult because I keep on going on the computer to see what other people my age are doing because they have lives.

So, currently I am supposed to be studying for my midterm exams, which start tomorrow.

NOOOOO

but seriously. I just...no. We just came back from spring break!

I actually don't have anything to talk about. I am just so tired of studying (even though so far I have studied for approximately 20 minutes) and writing kind of helps me collect my thoughts :)

but..I have to study.

If I do not study:

1. I fail the exams

2. I flunk the class

3. Have to take summer school

4. Ruin my parents vacation plans

5. Disappointment from them

6. Stress

7. Fail high school

8. Do not get into any colleges

9. Get kicked out of my house

10. Become a hobo.

However....

If I study:

1. Ace the tests

2. Pass the class with flying colors (weird term but ok)

3. Parents will be proud

4. Pride= work harder

5. Valedictorian

6. Get into Harvard

7. Become a doctor

8. Very rich

9. Marry a guy

10. Have a fulfilling life

HA. As if.

MY GOALS: (Grades wise)

~3.8 GPA or higher

~2250 on SAT or higher

~220 on PSAT or higher

~32 on ACT or higher

~Class rank: Top 25

Okay, now I am going to go back to what I was originally coming on the computer for: Print out a blank map of south america!

Stress

Okay I know I just posted but whatever this will be a short one

Wow I'm saying this like people are actually reading this lol

Anyways, so today in WG my teacher told us about the people in China and Korea, and how they have 3 DAY entrance exams to college, and how they study for 12 hours a day.

12 hours. A DAY!

I mean, I totally study 12 hours sometimes. In a week.

But like....although I DO want to change my study habits and just focus on studying instead of going on youtube and facebook all the time, I just..ITS HARD OK

But yeah. I vow that I shall start studying more!

School update

BLEH

So I guess I have to talk about how my first week of school went.

Everything started out fine. I knew at least one or two people in each class, so..

LOL okay that was easy. This class is like my second home ok.

2. Language

I was a little hesitant, since I went in without knowing anyone in my class. But it was ok because a girl in my first period had the same class(:

3. English

Ironically enough, I thought English would be okay because I knew a lot of people who were in the same class. Yeah, I "knew" people, but they weren't like good friends or anything. It was actually pretty good though, because I just made friends with them.

LUNCH

okay.

So I knew I would be eating lunch with one of my good friends, and also some of her own friends whom I didn't know. TURNS OUT HER FRIENDS ARE ALL (lack of better words) WEIRDOS.

Okay, maybe they're not that bad.

Its just that everytime my friend got up to go get lunch, or go to the bathroom, I would be stuck there eating my lunch silently while her friends socialized and talked and gabbered on.

Omg so awkward.

But then it turns out my really good friends also have that same lunch on mondays and wednesdays, and I found two other friends that I actually knew that I could sit with on tuesdays thursdays and fridays.

So maybe it wasn't that bad.

I didn't know anyone..like at all.

I "knew" some people from like middle school and stuff..

Anyways it was okay bc they didn't know anyone either so we just got together our "hey look we have a group only bc we know each other from middle school".

So overall, it was okay.

Maybe not the best

But it wasnt that bad!

ohmygosh

first day of school tomorrow!!

well, not really.

but

new semester, new classes pretty much = first day of school!!

What i'll be wearing:

(btw, i just took these pictures from..websites. lol)

Shirt: I'm wearing this pretty loose blouse from abercrombie and fitch. The picture looks pretty similar to my shirt, but the middle flowery stuff isnt as..out there.

Necklace: A small dainty necklace. The picture does not actually look anything like mine at all lol. Mine has crystals on one side, and on the other side it's striped...hard to explain.

Then I'm just wearing plain dark wash skinny pac sun jeans.

Shoes...I'm still not sure. like everytime i think of all the shoes I have, I just forget everything-.-

OH YEAH

Actually, these aren't even similar to mine, LOL. Mine are brown leather on the outside. Their like..combat boots? but cowboy style?

So thats what I'll be wearing tomorrow!!

actually, I haven't even prepared any of my school stuff yet,LOL.
